Origins of the American Windsor Chair

Go To Enlarged View

The American Windsor evolved from the English style chair in the early 18th Century in Colonial America. The English Windsor originated a century earlier and legend has the style gaining popularity when brought to Windsor Castle as informal furniture - often outdoor.
